BC Wild Spot Prawns

Our spot prawns are harvested in the waters of British Columbia’s West coast.

The vessels name is “Sea Saw” .

The harvest season is brief, lasting typically 30- 50 days beginning in the first weeks of May. A short season allows for careful monitoring of fishing areas to ensure sustainability of the fishery. Each prawn is finger-packed with their heads removed and packed into 1 pound tubs then frozen at sea on board the fishing vessel.  This means the prawns are frozen the same day they are caught, bringing you the highest quality product.
