Our Black Cod, wild-caught off the northern tip of Haida Gwaii, is nothing short of spectacular. These exquisite fish are carefully harvested from the deep waters, at depths ranging between 500 and 1000 meters, by experienced longline fisheries. Expertly flash-frozen at sea to preserve their exceptional quality, our skipper Rick ensures that these flavorful sablefish make their way to Vancouver for processing. With an irresistible taste and buttery texture, they are a highly sought-after delicacy among chefs and home cooks alike, and we can barely keep them in stock due to their immense popularity.
A buttery flavour, thick and flaky meat and versatile to cook. Our customers favourite way to prepare this white fish is within a miso marinade and bake.
